The Deal

ROQAD, which describes itself as the LiveRamp of Europe, has acquired Zeotap Data, the third party data division of Zeotap Data. The deal roughly doubles ROQAD's revenue and brings 30+ adtech integrations including The Trade Desk, Adform, Google DV360 and Amazon DSP.

Why Amazon Matters

Zeotap Data recently became a preferred data onboarding partner for Amazon DSP in Europe and India, and is one of two such partners in North America. ROQAD will inherit these relationships, strengthening its position in the fastest growing advertising ecosystem.

"Amazon has been building an advertising business to compete with Google and Meta, and the growth there has been phenomenal."

Privacy at the Core

Both ROQAD and Zeotap Data were founded in Berlin in 2014, when the groundwork for what later became GDPR was already underway. All data in ROQAD's identity graph is consented, combining TCF consent with a detailed due diligence process for every data provider.

"There is a high expectation in the market because of our origins, and we really want to live up to that standard."

Elad Simon, CEO, Zeotap Data

What is Next

ROQAD aims to increase its team by 20% in the UK and Germany. Together, ROQAD and Zeotap Data will generate between $2M and $3M in profit this year. Expansion into APAC and further into the US is next on the roadmap.
